Interested in joining the Bainbridge Chorale?

The Bainbridge Chorale is an auditioned SATB choral ensemble that strives to achieve ever-higher levels of musicianship and artistic excellence. Our rehearsals are productive and fast-paced, focused on experiencing the full joy of singing musically and learning together within a warm and welcoming social community.

We look for new members with voices that blend, knowledge of and ability with vocal technique, good musical skills (including some degree of sight-reading ability), and devotion to the art of ensemble singing. 

Members are expected to attend all rehearsals (if needed, the option to attend remotely is provided), to spend time at home learning the music between rehearsals.  See here for more information about member expectations.

An audition is required for those singers wishing to join the Bainbridge Chorale. Auditions are held two or three times a year by appointment at scheduled times prior to the commencement of rehearsals for a given concert.

How to schedule an audition

If the Bainbridge Chorale sounds like a good fit for you, we invite you to audition to become a member.

Auditions are typically held by appointment three times during the year:

  • In July or August before the Summer Sings events
  • Before the first and/or second rehearsals of the fall session in September
  • In early January before the first and/or second rehearsals of the spring session.
