How You Can Help

We invite you to share in our vision to promote musical growth and education for our members and audiences and to share the transcendent power of choral music.  We believe music is a shared language, and choral music unites us as a uniquely beautiful expression of the human spirit.

In addition to enriching our community by performing several concerts each season:

  • We provide a choral education for youth singers of all ages and abilities through the Bainbridge Youth Choir.
  • We host an annual sing-along presentation of Messiah, where we invite all members of the community to join their voices with Chorale singers, professional soloists and the Messiah Festival Orchestra in an informal setting.
  • We offer the Choral Scholars Program, a unique opportunity for qualified teens to develop their individual and ensemble singing abilities by rehearsing and performing with the Bainbridge Chorale tuition-free.
  • We co-host a Community Caroling tradition in downtown Winslow each December with Amabile Choir and Ovation Musical Theater, with free admission, donations of cash and food requested to benefit Helpline House, our local social services organization.
  • We host Summer Sing! each summer, where we invite members of the public to join us in reading through interesting choral literature.

Concert ticket sales cover only about a quarter of the actual cost of offering these programs and producing our season of concerts, public events and youth choir programs; we rely on contributions to make up the difference. Especially in this time of uncertainty about public funding for the arts, we look to our generous supporters to help us enrich the life of our community. Your gift will allow us to continue to do that.
